Now, that's not to say that there isn't a buyer for this camera out there. The camera does have decent performance (it operates quickly) and it looks really nice. The 7x optical zoom does work well, and it does work during movie capture, which is a nice to have. The bottom line, however, is that image quality is not that great. I do strongly recommend that you take a look at the sample images and decide for yourself. The most direct competitor to the Samsung L77 is the Casio Exilim EX-V7.
